AKIRA HORI

Born in Tango peninsula of Kyoto in 1959.
After graduating from Faculty of Law of Hosei University, Akira went to work as a cram school teacher.
Then he studied self-taught and turned into an incumbent.

In 2001, following a tiger to India. Akira carried out a long-term covering the entire 6 months.
In 2002, the Photographs of Bengal tiger was published in "Nikkei Science" and made a debut as a photographer.
After that, Akira lived together with 127 dogs of "semi-free-breed " at the Yatsugatake ranch and recorded
the ecological investigation of the herd.
He has contributed to many magazines such as "Weekly Asahi" at works focused on animals and nature around the world.
In the past he was in charge of the series in dog or cat specialty magazines.
He also investigated the reality of the pet industry and accused it in economic magazines such as "Weekly Economist".
